Lex Products Promotes Barry Neumann to General Manager of Newly Acquired KMP Division

Lex Products Corp. is pleased to announce that Barry Neumann has been promoted to the position of General Manager, KMP Division of Lex Products Corp. KMP is the newly acquired metal processing division of Lex.
Mr. Neumann joined Lex Products Corp. in 2003 as Plant Manager at the Stamford, CT headquarters. He has overseen a dramatic rise in production and successfully integrated manufacturing lines for several new products.
Mr. Neumann has enthusiastically embraced this new challenge for the simple reason that metal processing is in his blood. He first worked in his family’s metal stamping business in Germany when he was 14 years old. He was manager of KMP (then Kimchuk, Inc.) for a period in the 1990s.
Lex Products Corp. is a manufacturer of portable and fixed electrical equipment for entertainment, military and industrial markets. KMP manufactures engineered metal components for its client base and in support of Lex Products.

Lex Products Acquires Kimchuk Metal Processing and Re-names Company KMP Division – Lex Products

Lex Products is pleased to announce the acquisition of the metal processing division of Kimchuk Inc. The business will be renamed KMP, a division of Lex Products Corp.
Kimchuk Inc. was founded in 1972 by Bill Kimbell as a sheet metal design and fabrication business. While the corporation has expanded into electronic contract manufacturing and engineering services, the Stamford, CT location has remained a metal processing business with Mr. Kimbell remaining at the helm. Upon his retirement, the company was purchased by Bob Luther, CEO of Led Products Corp.
Lex Products Corp. is a manufacturer of portable and fixed power distribution power distribution systems for entertainment, military and industrial markets. The company has grown dramatically since its founding in 1989 by focusing on innovation in process and design, quality of manufactured product and world class customer service.
Kimchuk and Lex already share the same core values. Lex hopes to enhance the success of KMP by adding energy and resources to an already established and successful business. The acquisition will also expand Lex’s manufacturing capabilities.
